The HT8000 series of high voltage differential probes are designed for use in applications where high voltage floating ground measurements are required.
The HT8000 series of high voltage isolation probes are available in 1/50 and 1/500 attenuation steps.
The differential mode measurement ranges are 130V (DC + peak AC) and 1300V
(DC + peakAC) respectively.
The high voltage isolation probes are equipped with an over-range alarm, indicated by a red LED.

Usage
HT8000 series of high-voltage differential probe is very easy to use, but this product is not familiar with the user should first read this manual completely before starting the operation.
1, operation steps:
(1) Before use must first confirm that the power adapter input power voltage is normal.
(2) Before the test should estimate the measured voltage amplitude, if more than the voltage range, may damage the probe.
(3) The probe output BNC terminal connected to an oscilloscope or other measuring instruments, the input terminal and the choice of the test probe hook fixture is properly connected.
(4) The power adapter is connected to the probe, the green power (POWER) indicator light.
(5) According to the measurement voltage, select the appropriate range of the probe. When the measured voltage exceeds the range during the test, the red overload (OVER RANGE) indicator will light up, at this time should be immediately disconnected from the power supply and input.
6) According to the range of the probe initially set the attenuation ratio of the oscilloscope or other instruments. After starting the measurement and then according to the size of the measured signal, set the appropriate sensitivity of the oscilloscope.
7) Connect the object to be measured to start the measurement. Measurement, the probe body should be as far away as possible from the high-voltage pulse circuit to reduce the interference may cause errors.
8)After the test is completed, disconnect the power supply of the probe, first disconnect the two inputs from the measured point, and then unplug the input BNC terminal from the oscilloscope.
2. Precautions for use:
1) The input line should be wound as much as possible during the measurement, so that the noise can be better eliminated and the high-frequency response capability can be improved. The winding method is shown in the figure below:
2) Try not to extend the input line during the measurement, otherwise more noise will be introduced. If the input line must be extended, the length of the extension line should be the same. Moreover, the signal frequency of the measurement input should not exceed 10MHz, if the measurement signal frequency exceeds 10MHz, the error will be larger.
3) If you need to get high precision measurement results, you should carry out the measurement after the probe and the measuring instrument have been warmed up for 20 minutes.

Power
indicator does not light or blinks

Check the connection between the
power adapter plug and the power outlet or between the output and the probe;
test the power adapter for proper operation.

stabilized or error is noticeable.

Check the connections between the probe input and
the probe hook and between the probe hook and the point under test;
Check the connection between the probe output and
the oscilloscope;
Replacing the probe or measuring instrument for troubleshooting.
